Privacy Policy

We hold data nobody hands over lightly: national ID number, a scan of an identity document, a bank account number. This is a plain statement of what we do with it, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

About this website. This website (quickjobapp.com) sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. Like any web host, our hosting provider processes technical request data — IP address, time and requested page — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The only external element is the Visa/Mastercard logo served by our payment provider Paynow (mBank S.A.), which receives the same technical request data when your browser loads it. The rest of this policy describes the QuickJob app.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is QUICKJOB prosta spółka akcyjna (simple joint-stock company), registered office: ul. Wyględowska 8 lok. 48, 02-654 Warsaw, Poland, entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0001265247, tax ID (NIP) 5214179660, REGON 545709073. For anything data-related write to office@quickjobapp.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: first and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored as an irreversible hash).
  • Employment data: date of birth, citizenship, national ID number, address, tax office, insurance status, bank account number.
  • Documents: a scan of your ID card or passport, student card, profile photo.
  • Work data: applications, signed contracts, attendance, ratings and reviews.
  • Technical data: device information and logs needed to run and secure the service.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Running your account and matching you with jobs — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Identity and age verification — performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in the safety of the other side (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Tax and insurance data passed to the employer — a legal obligation resting on the employer and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(c) and (b) GDPR).
  • Handling reports and complaints, pursuing claims — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Marketing messages — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in notification settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Who we share it with

  • The employer whose job you were accepted for — only as far as needed to conclude the contract and settle the work. Before that, the employer sees your public profile only.
  • Infrastructure providers (hosting and file storage) acting on our instructions, on servers in the European Union.
  • Payment providers — mBank S.A. (Paynow service), Autopay S.A. for cards, and Stripe for the GOLD subscription — strictly for the employer’s payments for QuickJob services. Your pay never passes through our app.
  • The SMS gateway provider — your phone number, to deliver a verification code.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data and we do not hand it to advertisers.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account data — for as long as the account exists.
  • Job, contract and settlement history — for the period required by tax and accounting law, counted from the end of the year the job took place in.
  • Identity document scans — until the account is deleted; they go with it.
  • Support reports — for as long as needed to handle the case and defend against claims.

6. Your rights

  • Access to your data and a copy of it — a full export is available in your profile.
  • Rectification of data that is wrong.
  • Deletion of your account together with your data — also in your profile, one button.
  • Restriction of processing and objection to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Portability of your data to another controller.
  • Withdrawal of marketing consent at any time, without affecting past processing.
  • A complaint to the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

7. Security

Traffic to the app is encrypted, passwords are stored only as hashes, and identity documents are reachable only by the people who verify accounts. Uploads are checked for their real file type and capped in size.

8. Changes to this policy

When we change how we process data, we update this document and announce it in the app. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the screen.

9. Third-party data licences

Postal codes in the app come from GeoNames (www.geonames.org) and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0).
